At SMPLTSK, we respect your right to control your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can delete your data from our app, what happens when you delete data, and our practices around data retention.

How Your Data is Stored

All SMPLTSK data is stored exclusively on your device:

• Photos and task markers are saved in your device's local storage
• Project information remains on your device only
• No data is uploaded to SMPLTSK servers
• No cloud synchronization occurs without your explicit action

How to Delete Your Data

Delete Individual Items

Within the SMPLTSK app, you can:

• Delete individual photos by tapping the delete option on any task image
• Remove specific task markers from photos
• Delete entire projects through the project management screen
• Clear completed tasks while preserving active ones

Delete All App Data

To completely remove all SMPLTSK data from your device:

Option 1: Within the App

• Go to Settings in the SMPLTSK app
• Select "Data & Privacy"
• Tap "Clear All Data"
• Confirm your choice when prompted

Option 2: Uninstall the App

• iOS: Press and hold the SMPLTSK app icon, tap "Remove App," then "Delete App"
• Android: Go to Settings > Apps > SMPLTSK > Uninstall

Uninstalling the app will automatically remove all locally stored SMPLTSK data from your device.

Clear Cache Data

To clear temporary files without deleting your projects:

• iOS: Settings > General > iPhone Storage > SMPLTSK > Offload App
• Android: Settings > Apps > SMPLTSK > Storage > Clear Cache

What Happens When You Delete Data

When you delete data from SMPLTSK:

• Immediate Removal: Data is immediately removed from your device's storage
• No Recovery: Since we don't store backups, deleted data cannot be recovered
• Shared Content: If you've shared task images via email or messaging, those copies remain with recipients
• Export Files: Any files you've exported from the app remain in their saved locations

Data We Cannot Delete

Certain information may persist outside our control:

• Content you've shared with others through messaging or email
• Screenshots taken outside the app
• Device-level backups (iCloud, Google Drive) if you've enabled them
• Crash reports or analytics already sent to app stores (these contain no personal data)

Account Information

SMPLTSK does not require user accounts, registration, or login. There are no user profiles or account data to delete. You can start fresh at any time by clearing the app data or reinstalling.

Third-Party Services

If you choose to backup your device to iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android), your SMPLTSK data may be included in those backups. To remove data from these services:

• iCloud: Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups > [Your Device] > Toggle off SMPLTSK
• Google Drive: Google Drive app > Backups > [Your Device] > Manage backup settings

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• We do not retain any user data on our servers
• Data remains on your device until you actively delete it
• No automatic deletion occurs unless you set it up
• You control how long data is kept

Children's Data

If a parent or guardian believes a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us immediately. Upon verification, we will provide instructions for complete data removal.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete any or all data at any time
• Export your data before deletion
• Understand what data is stored (see our Privacy Policy)
• Contact us with questions about data deletion

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Data Deletion Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice through the app.
