Note: SMPLTSK does not offer email/password registration. You must use Google or Apple to create an account.

For absolute clarity, SMPLTSK does NOT:
- Read your task descriptions or comments
- View your uploaded photos
- Access your messages or conversations
- Monitor your activity beyond basic analytics
- Sell or share your content with third parties
- Use your photos for any purpose other than displaying them to you and your chosen recipients
Think of SMPLTSK like a secure filing cabinet:
You put things in (photos, tasks, messages), the cabinet stores them safely (Firebase servers), only you and people you give keys to can open it (your chosen contacts), we don't look inside (SMPLTSK doesn't access your content), we just maintain the cabinet (technical maintenance and security).
Your photos, tasks, and messages are between you and the people you choose to share with. Period.
2. Service Tiers and Data Collection
2.1 Free Version
Free users can create and send 1 image with up to 6 tasks. We collect:
- Basic account information
- Photos and task data (limited to 1 image, 6 tasks)
- Usage metrics for the free tier
2.2 Premium Subscription (Monthly: $7.99/month, Annual: $59.99/year, or Lifetime: $149.99 one-time)
Subscribers get unlimited tasks and images. We collect:
- All free tier data
- Subscription status and payment history (processed by App Store/Play Store/Stripe/RevenueCat)
- Extended usage analytics for unlimited features

Server Location: Your data is stored on Firebase servers located in Sydney, Australia.

4. SMPLTSK-Specific Features
4.1 Photo-Based Task Management
- You upload photos which are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage (Sydney)
- Visual markers (red for undone, green for done) are stored with each task
- Task batches can contain multiple images
4.2 Folder Organization
Your tasks are automatically organized into folders:
- Sent: Tasks you've sent to others
- Received: Tasks others have sent to you
- Mine: Personal tasks for yourself
- Drafts: Unsent/incomplete task batches
We store folder metadata to maintain this organization.
4.3 Contact System
- You can import contacts from your device's native contact list
- Imported contacts are stored in our system to enable task sharing
- We only access contact names and identifiers you explicitly import

- Comments and messages between task senders and recipients are stored in Firebase
- Messages are linked to specific tasks and retained as long as the task exists
4.5 Task Limitations
- Once a task is sent, the photo, markers, and descriptions cannot be edited
- Only completion status (red/green) can be changed
- This ensures task integrity and clear accountability

When you send tasks to other users:
- Recipients see your name, the photo, markers, and task descriptions
- Recipients can view in-app messages you send
- Task completion status is visible to both sender and recipient

We share data with trusted service providers who help us operate SMPLTSK:
- Google Firebase - Hosting, storage, and app infrastructure (servers in Sydney, Australia)
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store - Subscription management and payments
- RevenueCat - Cross-platform subscription management for iOS and Android
- Stripe - Payment processing (web subscriptions, where available)
- Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In - Authentication services
These service providers have access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to protect your information.

- When you delete your account, we begin deletion process immediately

- If you delete your account, tasks you shared with others remain accessible to recipients
- Your name may still appear as the task creator
- Delete shared tasks before account deletion if you want them removed

You already have your data:
- All your data is stored locally on your device
- Access everything through the SMPLTSK app anytime
- Share or export individual photos and tasks as needed
- Your device backup (iCloud/Google Drive) includes all SMPLTSK data
No hidden data: SMPLTSK doesn't hold any data you can't access. Everything is on your device under your control.

10. Children's Privacy
SMPLTSK is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Your data is stored on Firebase servers in Sydney, Australia. If you access SMPLTSK from outside Australia, your information may be transferred to and processed in Australia. By using SMPLTSK, you consent to this transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:
